Syrian Defense Forces Thwart Infiltration by "SDF" East of Aleppo and Accuse Them of Escalation

The official SANA agency reported that units of the Syrian Arab Army thwarted an infiltration attempt at dawn today by two groups affiliated with the "SDF" towards the army's deployment points in the Tal Maaz area east of Aleppo, resulting in fierce clashes that led to the martyrdom of one army soldier.
The media and communication department of the Ministry of Defense stated that the army units dealt with the attack according to the rules of engagement, targeting the sources of fire and forcing the attacking elements to withdraw to their original positions.
The ministry added that this attempt comes in the context of a series of assaults carried out by the "SDF" by targeting army positions in Manbij and Deir Hafer, and intermittently closing some vital roads in the city of Aleppo to civilians, starting from areas under their control near the Lirmon Roundabout, in disregard of the understandings and agreements made with the Syrian government.
The Ministry of Defense warned that the continuation of infiltration operations, shelling, and provocations will lead to "new consequences," emphasizing the necessity for the "SDF" to adhere to the signed agreements and to cease any practices that threaten security and stability in Aleppo and its eastern countryside.
