The Syrian Chambers of Commerce Union denied the validity of what is being circulated on some social media platforms regarding the issuance of a statement boycotting Al-Suwayda by traders and industrialists following the recent events in the province.

In a statement, the union called for accuracy before publishing any information or news, confirming that any statements circulated outside its official accounts on Facebook or its channel on Telegram are baseless and aim to stir up unrest in the commercial and industrial circles without justification.

This morning, Thursday, statements were circulated claiming to be issued by Syrian companies, calling for boycotting traders and industrialists in Al-Suwayda, in response to the recent developments in the province.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the "House of the Muwahideen Druze Sect" in Al-Suwayda announced reaching an agreement with the Syrian government for the full integration of the province within the Syrian state and affirming its sovereignty.

In return, local factions began to spread throughout the province, but this spread was marred by deadly violations, including killings that forced several Bedouin families to flee from the countryside of Al-Suwayda.
