The Syrian national basketball team achieved a significant victory over the Emirati team with a score of 86-61, in the third window of the Asian championship held in the Qatari capital, Doha. The game showcased a moderate level of technical performance with a clear advantage for the Syrian team, which played in a fast and strong offensive manner. The Syrian players managed to score and penetrate the Emirati defenses easily. The substitutions made by the Syrian coach were successful, allowing his team to balance performance and results, widening the lead to 23 points. On the other hand, the Emirati team did not perform up to its usual standard, showing signs of confusion and missing many easy shots due to the strong defense of the Syrian team.
The Syrian basketball team will face Bahrain on Monday at 10:00 PM. A win in this match means direct qualification to the Asian finals, while a loss would require them to play in a new playoff in the upcoming month of July.
