Syria participates in the 116th session of the Arab Economic and Social Council in Cairo

The 116th session of the Arab Economic and Social Council has commenced at the headquarters of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the participation of official delegations from various Arab countries, including a delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic headed by the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammad Nidal Al-Shahr.

Syria's participation in this session is part of its efforts to enhance Arab economic cooperation and actively engage in formulating common developmental policies that address current regional and international challenges.

The meetings will discuss pivotal economic and social files, most notably supporting Arab integration, developing mechanisms for joint action in the fields of trade, investment, and sustainable development, as well as enhancing the role of Arab economic institutions in facing global crises.
