10 billion Syrian pounds in profits from the daily sale of household gas cylinders in Syria.

The price of a 10 kg gas cylinder still exceeds 200,000 Syrian pounds in the market outside the ration card, while its price at distribution centers affiliated with the fuel company fluctuates between 150,000 - 175,000 Syrian pounds depending on the exchange rate and (the approved).

All estimates indicate that the imported gas, including transportation, shipping, customs clearance costs, and other fees, does not exceed 100,000 Syrian pounds. This raises questions about the profit margin charged by the fuel company and the higher margin obtained by domestic gas sellers in the black market due to the fuel company's inability to meet all the Syrian families' needs for this material for household use.
It is worth noting that the estimated daily gas needs of Syrian families exceed 150,000 cylinders, and based on these estimates, the margins will reach profits estimated at 10 billion Syrian pounds daily from the sale of domestic gas.
