Syria .. Gradual return of electricity and work is ongoing to stabilize it

Engineer Khaled Abu Di, director of the General Authority for Electricity Transmission and Distribution, stated that the work teams have succeeded in restarting several turbines of vital stations in the country, in a step aimed at improving and activating the electrical network to meet the needs of citizens.
Abu Di mentioned that the turbines of the Jandar, Deir Ali, Nasiriyah, Baniyas, and Tishreen stations have been gradually restarted, as part of the authority's efforts to provide sustainable electricity supplies to all areas.
Engineer Abu Di clarified that the balance of the electrical network is currently being monitored by the main control center, to ensure that electricity reaches all provinces continuously.
He also confirmed that this effort aims to secure energy for humanitarian and essential loads, in line with the needs of citizens throughout Syria.
Regarding Quneitra province, Abu Di pointed out that electricity has not yet been supplied to it due to a fault on the feeding line. He confirmed that maintenance teams are working to repair the fault as quickly as possible, and that electricity will be restored to the province as soon as the repair process is completed.
The director general of the authority also addressed the fault that occurred on the 230 kV Deir Ali - Al-Kisweh line, confirming that it has been fully repaired, and that the process of securing electricity supply to the provinces of Daraa and Sweida has been successfully completed. He added that the remaining provinces in the country are currently receiving electricity supply normally, while generation is being gradually increased to achieve full stability in generated energy.
Abu Di concluded his remarks by emphasizing that the authority is making every effort to ensure the stability of electrical energy, pointing to the importance of integrating efforts between maintenance and monitoring teams to ensure the continuity of electricity supply without interruption.
