Syria exports 600,000 barrels of heavy oil via the tanker "Nissos Christiana"

The Syrian Ministry of Energy announced today, Monday, the export of a massive quantity of heavy oil amounting to 600,000 barrels, which departed from the oil terminal in the city of Tartus, aboard the international tanker Nissos Christiana, for the benefit of the company "B Serv Energy".

This achievement comes as part of government directives and the plans of the General Directorate of Oil, which aim to enhance Syria's presence in foreign oil markets and expand cooperation with global companies specialized in energy trade.

The ministry confirmed that this operation represents a pivotal step in revitalizing the Syrian oil sector, noting that the coming period will witness additional export operations, reflecting a tangible development in the country's ability to invest its natural resources and achieve sustainable economic returns.
