The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the importance of activating international cooperation in rebuilding the future of Syria.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has announced its efforts to enhance international cooperation in the new phase the country is witnessing, confirming that Syria is regaining its role on both the Arab and international stages after years of isolation.
This was stated in the ministry's announcement, emphasizing that Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2025 aims to rebuild relations with the international community based on equal cooperation and mutual interest.
The statement clarified that reconstruction is not limited to the material aspect only, but also includes renewing international relations and enhancing partnerships with countries and organizations to support the national recovery process. It also noted that this approach reflects a new vision based on openness, institutional coordination, while maintaining principles of national sovereignty and transparency.
On the other hand, the International Cooperation and Development Affairs Administration is working on coordinating efforts with international partners and donors, ensuring the implementation of bilateral and multilateral commitments to align the national vision with external cooperation mechanisms.
The ministry concluded its statement by inviting the international community to actively contribute to supporting Syria during the recovery phase, affirming that constructive cooperation will contribute to building a future Syria as an open and active state in its regional and international environment.
