German-Turkish airline "SunExpress" has announced that it is considering the Syrian market as a potential destination for future expansion, citing its attractiveness as a promising growth opportunity, provided that safety requirements and necessary technical conditions are met.
In statements reported by Reuters, the company's CEO, Max Kownatzki, emphasized that "Syria represents an attractive market from several aspects, especially beyond tourism," adding: "There are still untapped markets, and Syria is definitely among them."
Kownatzki explained that entering the Syrian market first requires evaluating security protocols and selecting suitable aircraft types before taking any practical steps.
