Sudden escalation in the Syrian skies... Israeli reconnaissance flights and airstrikes on Damascus and Quneitra:

The capital Damascus and the countryside of Quneitra have been witnessing escalating tension for hours, with intensive flights of unidentified reconnaissance aircraft believed to be Israeli in the capital's skies, especially in the southern Damascus area, for the second time today, amid clear sounds of their presence.

In the southern countryside of Quneitra, Israeli military reinforcements have arrived in the town of Um Batnah, while the central countryside saw a new military incursion, as Israeli forces entered the abandoned Majdalaya hospital west of the town of Nabaa Al-Sakhr and conducted search operations inside.

The escalation did not stop there, as Israeli military vehicles loaded with personnel penetrated through the western Samadaniyah road in the central Quneitra countryside, coinciding with intensive Israeli reconnaissance flights over the province, along with military patrols in the Ein Al-Nouriya area.

In Damascus, the sounds of reconnaissance aircraft were clearly heard, although government sources denied them being Israeli and confirmed them to be Turkish aircraft.

As for the most dangerous development, it came with Israeli airstrikes targeting the military Mezzeh airport in Damascus for the second time today, amidst a noticeable escalation in Israeli military operations within Syrian airspace.
