During the concert of the artist Tamer Hosny held at Baron Palace in Cairo, a tragic incident occurred, resulting in the injury of 20 attendees.
The incident happened before the concert started, as a large iron lighting stand weighing over 300 kilograms fell, causing injuries to many people gathered at the venue.
The injured were immediately transported to Heliopolis Hospital in New Cairo, where they received initial medical care.
Preliminary medical reports indicated injuries ranging from wounds and bruises to some fractures, which were promptly addressed.
As a result of this incident, the decision was made to cancel the concert to ensure the safety of the audience, with security personnel arriving to facilitate the safe exit of attendees without any stampedes or issues.
In a humane gesture, Tamer Hosny did not leave the concert venue immediately but stayed to check on the injured, sending a team from his staff to the hospital to monitor their condition.
This action received widespread praise from followers on social media, considering it a demonstration of the artist's concern for his audience and his willingness to assist them.
It is worth mentioning that Tamer Hosny had performed two successful concerts in two Arab countries the previous week, attended by a large audience, before facing this unfortunate incident at the Cairo concert.
