Germany welcomes the progress in the dialogue between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

German envoy to Syria, Steffen Seibert, welcomed the "progress" in the ongoing talks between the Syrian government and representatives of the Syrian Democratic Forces, considering it a positive step towards a peaceful resolution of the Syrian crisis.

Seibert emphasized in a post on "X" platform that "reaching a peaceful Syrian solution to all remaining issues with a spirit of consensus is a significant contribution to a comprehensive and sustainable process for a better future for all Syrians," noting that "Germany continues to support this process."

Meanwhile, Brigadier Ziad Al-Ayesh, a member of the committee responsible for finalizing the agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces, stated to SANA agency yesterday that both sides confirmed "their commitment to constructive dialogue and continuous cooperation, serving Syria's unity and sovereignty, and achieving the aspirations of the Syrian people for security and stability."
