Security operation in the neighborhood of "Al-Waer" in the city of Homs.

The General Security carried out a security operation in the neighborhood of "Al-Waer" in the city of Homs against unlawful groups present in that area. The General Security administration announced, according to "SANA", that it "executed a security operation against remnants of the former regime in the Al-Waer neighborhood of Homs city." The ministry stated that "during the operation, weapons and explosives prepared for terrorist acts in the area were found," as expressed by them. The Syrian General Security administration has conducted several security campaigns in the provinces, during which elements of the former regime were arrested.
