Before detonating it, security forces seized a booby-trapped car in the area of "Al-Bab."

According to reports, "the security forces suspected a car parked next to the historic Grand Mosque in Al-Bab, and proceeded to remove it from the area where a large number of civilians were present."
It was revealed that "the car contained 50 kilograms of explosives and a remotely detonated shrapnel bomb."
The security forces evacuated residential areas about one kilometer away from the car's location before bomb disposal teams rendered it safe.
