A leader in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) confirmed that they will not surrender their weapons to any party, noting that they "enjoy acceptance in Sweida and the Syrian coast."

Mahmoud Habib, the spokesperson for what is known as the "Democratic North Forces" affiliated with the SDF, said in an interview with the Rudaw news site that negotiations with the Syrian government are ongoing through specialized committees to discuss various issues, adding that the current understandings "will have a positive impact on the Syrians."
