The Saudi Cabinet, during its meeting today on Tuesday chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, emphasized the importance of the outcomes of the Syrian-Saudi Investment Conference held in Damascus last week.
The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" reported that the Cabinet praised the results of the Saudi delegation's visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Syria, which came upon directives from Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, reaffirming the Kingdom's firm support for Syria in its journey towards economic growth.
The Cabinet also noted the signing of 47 investment agreements worth approximately 24 billion riyals in various fields during the visit, in addition to the announcement of establishing a joint business council to boost mutual cooperation and activate partnerships between private sector institutions in both countries.
The Cabinet expressed its anticipation that the high-level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue, led by the Kingdom in partnership with France, will contribute to expediting recognition of the Palestinian state, establishing a consensus path for implementing the two-state solution, and enhancing the security and stability of the region's countries.
