Saudi Arabia Works to Expedite Recognition of the Palestinian State

The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, expressed its hope that the "high-level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue" led by Saudi Arabia in partnership with France would contribute to expediting the recognition of the Palestinian state, establishing a consensus path for implementing the two-state solution, and enhancing the security and stability of the region.
The Saudi Cabinet strongly condemned the Israeli Knesset's demand to impose control over the occupied West Bank and Palestinian territories, which undermines peace efforts, insists on sabotage and destruction, and emphasizes the Kingdom's complete rejection of the occupation authorities' violations of international laws and United Nations resolutions.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Cabinet continued to follow the developments and events on the regional and international stages, reaffirming the Kingdom's efforts to establish just peace in the Middle East, promote international security and stability, and stop the cycle of violence that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of innocent civilians.
