In a qualitative step reflecting the digital transformation taking place in the Kingdom, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced yesterday, Wednesday, the launch of the "Nusuk Umrah" service , which allows pilgrims from outside the Kingdom to apply directly for an Umrah visa and book all services related to their trip without the need for intermediaries or agents, through the electronic platform: https://umrah.nusuk.sa.
This service represents a new leap in facilitating the Umrah procedures for those wishing to perform it from various parts of the world, as it gives them the ability to choose integrated packages or independent services, including:
• Umrah visa
• Accommodation
• Transportation
• Enrichment tours
• Support services
The platform also provides the ability to design packages according to the desires and aspirations of the pilgrims, through a modern user interface that supports seven languages, and includes comprehensive integration with the relevant government systems, ensuring a unified and seamless digital experience.
The "Nusuk Umrah" service is characterized by offering multiple payment options that suit various segments and categories, enabling the pilgrim to complete all procedures electronically, starting from the application to the issuance of the entry visa, without any paper or intermediary procedures.
Although the new service allows direct application, it does not eliminate the role of qualified agents, who still represent an available option for pilgrims, and can be identified through the same platform.
This step comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to achieve the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to host the largest number of Muslims around the world and enable them to perform the rituals of Hajj and Umrah easily and with high quality, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to provide an enriching and facilitated experience for the guests of الرحمن.
It is noteworthy that four Saudi airports received about 4.5 million travelers and pilgrims during the Umrah season, reflecting the increasing demand for performing Umrah and the effectiveness of the infrastructure and services provided.
