Russian player "Andrey Rublev" clinched the title of the Qatar Open tennis championship by defeating British player "Jack Draper" today, Saturday, in the final match.
Rublev, ranked fifth, won the match against Draper, ranked eighth, in two sets to one with a score of 7/5, 5/7, and 6/1.
This is Rublev's second title in the Qatari championship, after he reached the winner's podium in Doha in 2020.
The Russian player secured his seventeenth title in his career, the first one since winning the Madrid Masters title in May of last year.
Rublev took two hours and one minute to claim his sixth title in 500-point tournaments.
The Russian player also marked his 31st victory in 500-point tournaments since the beginning of 2023.
