Resumption of operations at the Israeli Ramon Airport after a drone attack from Yemen

The Israeli ambulance service "Magen David Adom" reported that a 63-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were injured by shrapnel from the drone and were transported for treatment. The Airports Authority confirmed that the resumption of operations came after completing safety and security procedures and obtaining final approval from the Israeli Air Force.
The attack comes amid escalating regional tensions, as the Iran-aligned Houthis continue to launch drones and missiles towards Israel, which the group described as solidarity with the Palestinians. Israel responded by bombing sites in Yemen, including the vital port of Hodeidah.
This attack, if confirmed to be the responsibility of the Houthis, would be the first direct targeting from Yemen since Israel assassinated prominent Houthi leaders last month.
