Syrian Arab Airlines announced the resumption of its flights from Damascus International Airport starting from next Thursday, June 26, 2025, following the reopening of Syrian airspace and the return of air traffic to normal.

The institution explained in a statement released on its official Telegram channel that the resumption of flights comes after the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority announced the reopening of air corridors that were temporarily closed earlier due to the tensions in the region.

Syrian Arab Airlines also confirmed that it will continue to operate flights from Aleppo International Airport to both Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, indicating that the schedule for these flights will be announced soon through the institution's official channels.

Syrian airspace had witnessed a temporary closure of air corridors as a precautionary measure due to regional tensions before the relevant authorities today announced the resumption of air traffic and the opening of airspace for civil aviation.

It is worth mentioning that this decision comes as part of the Syrian government's efforts to ensure the continuity of air traffic and facilitate the movement of citizens after taking the necessary technical and security measures to ensure the safety of civil aviation.
