Rabeh Saqer Sends a Message of Assurance to His Audience After Apologizing for Not Completing the Riyadh Concert

The artist Rabeh Saqer sent a message of reassurance to his audience after his sudden withdrawal from his concert as part of the Electronic Sports World Cup events in Riyadh, due to a health issue that struck him while performing on the Abu Bakr Salem stage.

During the concert, Saqer suddenly stopped singing, placing his hand on his chest, before announcing in an affected voice: "I can't continue, I'm tired, forgive me," and then hurried off the stage amidst the astonishment of the audience.

Clips of the moment he apologized spread on social media, during which he received waves of support and wishes for recovery from his fans.

In a later video statement, the artist confirmed that his condition had improved, saying: "I assure you, I am fine, and I am happy with you. I caught a slight cold on stage, and I had a severe cold before my arrival." He added, explaining: "The air conditioning on stage tired me, and I am fine, I wanted to reassure you, and I wish my health had allowed me to continue with you."

For its part, Rotana Company issued an official statement revealing that the health issue the artist experienced was "mild," resulting from "a cold and changes in the atmosphere inside the theater," confirming the stability of his condition and the absence of any risks. The statement indicated that Saqer had performed most of the concert segments before deciding to end it early for the sake of his health.
