Public security forces launch a sweep campaign in Achrafieh, Sahnaaya.

The Public Security Forces launched a wide-ranging combing campaign in the Ashrafieh Sahnaia area in the southwestern countryside of Damascus today, Wednesday, April 30, in response to attacks carried out by armed groups that resulted in the killing of 11 security personnel.
A security source confirmed that the operation aims to pursue and arrest "outlaw gangs," noting that these groups have used the area as a "launchpad for their terrorist operations against civilians and security forces," as reported by the official Syrian news agency "SANA."
On the other hand, the Damascus countryside governorate published photos showing convoys of the Public Security Forces heading towards Ashrafieh Sahnaia as part of efforts to "maintain security and pursue groups operating outside the law that attacked security checkpoints."
