General Security arrests one of the suspects of war crimes in Deir ez-Zor.

The General Security apparatus, affiliated with the Military Operations Command, has arrested "Imad Ali," an officer in the former regime's Air Intelligence branch in Deir ez-Zor, who holds the position of investigator within the branch.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, "Ali" holds a dark record of violations against Syrian civilians. He has been accused of participating in the massacre of Houla, which claimed the lives of 109 civilians, as well as leading operations of kidnapping and extortion of civilians _especially women_ demanding large sums of money as ransom for the release of the kidnapped individuals. Additionally, he is accused of involvement in torturing and killing activists and revolutionaries during the Syrian revolution.
