The Director of Public Relations at the Syrian Ministry of Information said: "We strongly reject the sectarianism that the previous regime instilled among Syrians."

He added: "We have just succeeded in liberating all the prisoners who were captured by remnants of the former regime."

He pointed out that officers from the former regime were the ones carrying out operations against the Syrian state with Iranian support.

He emphasized that Syria will not be divided at any cost, and our country will remain united with all its citizens."

For the past three days, the coastal areas of Syria have witnessed tensions due to sabotage attacks carried out by elements of the ousted regime, resulting in the deaths of many civilians and Syrian public security personnel, before security forces regained control of the area and secured it for the safety of civilians.
