Protesters storm Ahmed Badr al-Din Hassoun's house in Aleppo.

Dozens of protesters gathered in front of the former Mufti Ahmed Badr al-Din Hassoun's house in Al-Furqan neighborhood in Aleppo on Monday, 17/02/2025, demanding accountability for his positions and support for the former Assad regime, following the circulation of a video on social media showing Hassoun strolling in the city streets.

While the protesters chanted slogans calling for Hassoun's arrest for his involvement in the previous regime's violations, a group of them stormed his house in an expression of their anger, sparking controversy among supporters and opponents of the incident.
