Outlaw Groups Prevent Government Aid Convoy from Entering Sweida

The convoy contained medical supplies, relief materials, baby formula, and 20 fully equipped ambulances with specialized and highly prepared medical teams, as well as large quantities of medicines and emergency supplies.
The media office director at the Ministry of Health, Ahmed Abdullah, stated to SANA that the convoy departed towards Sweida this morning but was rejected by Hakmat Al-Hajri, allowing only the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to enter.
Abdullah also explained that out of humanitarian duty and the keenness to ensure aid reaches civilian residents, the government delegation allowed the Red Crescent organization to enter with its aid, while the delegation composed of ministries of health, social affairs, labor, emergencies, and disaster management, along with the aid convoy, returned to Damascus.
Today's convoy was not the first to be denied entry. Since last Wednesday, following the escalation of tension and violence in Sweida and the tragic events resulting from the Israeli aggression on Syrian territories, the Syrian government, represented by the ministries of foreign affairs, emergencies, disaster management, health, and social affairs, coordinated with the governors of Daraa and Sweida to prepare a humanitarian convoy and mobilize it once suitable security conditions were met. However, the convoy was also prevented from entering the province at that time.
