One killed and one injured following a landmine explosion in northern rural Aleppo.

The Syrian Civil Defense announced today, Thursday, the death of a civilian and the injury of his son, due to the explosion of a landmine from war remnants.

The Civil Defense stated on its Telegram channel that the victims are "a father and son of the Syrian Civil Defense volunteer, Mohammed Sarraj."

They added: "The incident was caused by the explosion of a landmine from the remnants of Assad regime forces on a car they were riding on a secondary road near the village of Al-Ziyara in northern rural Aleppo, today, Thursday, March 6th."
