Officially.. UAE's United Dubai Club Signs Andrea Pirlo as First Team Coach

The UAE's United Dubai Club has officially announced the signing of Andrea Pirlo, the legend of Italian football, to coach the first team in preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.

Pirlo (46 years old) is embarking on his first experience in Arab stadiums, after a successful career as a player, winning the World Cup with the Italian national team in 2006, and shining with AC Milan and Juventus. He has also had previous coaching experiences with Juventus and Sampdoria in the Italian league.

According to an official statement from the club, Pirlo has arrived in Dubai to begin preparations with the team, as part of an ambitious project aimed at enhancing United Dubai's position among the top clubs in Emirati football.

Despite the criticisms Pirlo has faced during his coaching career, which did not match his playing career, the club's management is counting on his experience to build a competitive team, especially after finishing last season in fourth place in the UAE First Division League with 45 points.
