An official quadrangular championship under the supervision of the Football Association to revive football activity in Syria.

The Syrian Football Association has announced the launch of an official quadrangular tournament involving Al-Wahda, Al-Karama, Al-Ittihad Aleppo, and Al-Umayya clubs, aiming to reactivate football activities after a long hiatus, which previously only consisted of limited friendly matches.
Local newspaper "Al-Watan" quoted Ibrahim Yassin, a member of the advisory committee and competitions manager at the Football Association, confirming that the tournament's goal is to prepare a comprehensive file to lift the ban on Syrian stadiums, as well as to engage with Arab and international federations to contribute to the reconstruction of stadiums that were destroyed in recent years.
Yassin explained that the file includes various measures, including the investment aspect, which will be discussed in detail later.
The tournament will be sponsored by one of the academies that will cover the expenses of hosting Al-Ittihad Aleppo, Al-Karama, and Al-Umayya teams, as the tournament will take place in Damascus at Al-Jalaa Stadium.
The tournament will follow a knockout format, with teams being eliminated after a single match. The technical meeting for the tournament will be held on the 14th of this month, during which the draw will take place.
The first match will be held on Tuesday, the 15th of April, the second match on the following day, and the final match on Friday, the 18th of April.
