The Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that his forces have carried out a "significant strike" on the Iranian nuclear program, stating that Israeli Air Force planes will soon fly over the skies of Tehran.
During a press conference, he stated that "Israel" targeted the enrichment facility, the biological conversion center, and the leadership team responsible for the nuclear program, indicating that the operation has set Iran "years back," and promising additional surprises that have not been disclosed, while confirming that the strikes received direct support from U.S. President Donald Trump.
In response, Iranian President Masoud Bzshkian escalated the rhetoric, threatening "Israel" with a stronger response if it continues its strikes, confirming that his country has downed advanced Israeli weapons that "radars reportedly do not detect."
He added that his country will respond forcefully if the aggression is repeated, emphasizing that the Iranian armed forces are confronting Israeli attacks firmly.
Bzshkian also accused the United States of lying and lacking credibility, in reference to its coordination with "Israel" despite ongoing talks between Tehran and Washington.
On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that there is no point in continuing talks with the United States in light of ongoing Israeli aggression. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during a call with the EU's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, stated that "Israel's hostile actions are a result of direct U.S. support," and that continuing indirect talks is "unjustified."
In a related context, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi announced in a post on the X platform the cancellation of the U.S.-Iranian nuclear talks scheduled for tomorrow in Muscat.
On the ground, the Israeli occupation army announced that it carried out strikes today on dozens of missile launch platforms, refineries, oil and energy depots in Iran, and confirmed that it also targeted air defense systems in the Tehran area during the night.
These strikes come after Iran launched missile attacks on targets inside the occupied territories on Friday, confirming that the attacks will continue at an escalating pace.
