Mount Zawiya in Idlib.. Security campaign targeting former regime elements.

The Internal Security Apparatus in Idlib province, in cooperation with the General Security Apparatus, launched a wide security campaign against groups affiliated with elements of the former regime in the southern Idlib countryside of Jabal al-Zawiya. According to "Al-Watan" newspaper, "The campaign aims to pursue infiltrating elements and dismantle any dormant cells associated with the former regime, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security stability in Syria." It is worth noting that at the end of last month, the Internal Security Administration of the Syrian Ministry of Interior launched a security campaign in the "Jisr al-Shughour" area in the western Idlib countryside, shortly after a similar campaign was launched in the Khan Sheikhoun area in the southern Idlib countryside.
