Ministry of Agriculture organizes a workshop at the National Library in Damascus in cooperation with 'FAO'

The General Authority for Agricultural Scientific Research, affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations 'FAO', organized a workshop today, Tuesday, on water-related interventions within a project to enhance the capacity of local communities in Eastern Ghouta, rural Damascus, to adapt to climate change, and the challenges of water scarcity through integrated natural resource management and immediate adaptation interventions.

During the workshop held today at the National Library in Damascus, the Syrian Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Amjad Badr, and representatives from several ministries, visited an agricultural exhibition where a group of farmers from the Ghouta region showcased samples of the prominent agricultural products, both plant-based and animal-based.
