The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Kabawat, conducted a field visit today, Wednesday, to several shelters in Daraa Governorate, reaffirming the government's support for affected families. She inspected the services provided to displaced persons and their basic needs.

The tour included several centers in eastern rural Daraa and the city of Bosra al-Sham. The minister reviewed the coordination mechanisms between the relevant authorities and examined the medical and shelter services, emphasizing the importance of developing a safe environment to preserve the dignity of displaced families.

In a statement to journalists, Kabawat pointed out that these visits aim to closely monitor the needs and ensure that support reaches those in need. She explained that the Syrian government continues to provide support in partnership with humanitarian organizations to alleviate the burdens on the affected population under the current circumstances.

Amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in Daraa due to internal displacement and economic challenges, government efforts continue to secure a safe environment for affected families. Shelters are considered one of the most prominent tools of social intervention to alleviate suffering and provide a minimum level of stability and dignified living. Officials' visits serve as a step to enhance field monitoring and ensure that relief support effectively and systematically reaches those in need.
