The Syrian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, conducted a field visit today, Tuesday, accompanied by the Governor of Idlib, Mohammed Abdul Rahman. The visit included the University Hospital and College of Education in Idlib City, as well as a visit to Al-Shahbaa University in Dana City, with the aim of evaluating the status of higher education and listening to the demands of academic and administrative staff.

The visit also involved discussions on ways to develop university work, improve the infrastructure of educational institutions, including expanding existing university buildings, and working on establishing a comprehensive university city in Dana City to provide an advanced educational environment that meets the needs of students and faculty.

In turn, Minister Al-Halabi emphasized that this step is part of the ministry's plan to enhance the higher education sector and strengthen the integration between academic and service structures, commending the efforts of university staff and their initiatives to enhance institutional performance.

Furthermore, Governor Abdul Rahman stressed the importance of supporting universities in Idlib, and providing the necessary resources to expand the scope of educational services, which will positively impact the future of students in the region.
