Minister of Education Discusses Ways to Improve Teachers' Conditions in Syria with Teachers' Union

The Syrian Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turkou, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Executive Office President of the Teachers' Union in Syria, Mohammad Mustafa, and members of the office, enhancing cooperation between the ministry and the union, developing education in Syria, and improving teachers' conditions.

The two sides discussed a number of issues related to education, ways to develop and improve its quality in Syria, as well as enhancing teachers' capabilities and activating their role in society as a fundamental step to enhance the level of education.

In turn, Minister Turkou affirmed that the ultimate goal of the Ministry of Education is to provide education to all students in Syria, highlighting the government's focus on developing the education sector and improving teachers' conditions, expressing the ministry's commitment to supporting teachers by improving the work environment and providing necessary support.

Minister Turkou also explained that the role of the union focuses on improving the education environment and enhancing teachers' efficiency, noting that the ministry prioritizes enhancing the status of teachers and developing their professional capabilities, emphasizing that developing teachers directly reflects on the sustainable quality of education for future generations.

On the other hand, the Executive Office President of the Teachers' Union reviewed the historical role of the Teachers' Union in enhancing the status of teachers, emphasizing the necessity of meeting teachers' demands, improving the work environment, and working to provide suitable conditions for them to perform their duties effectively.
