The Syrian Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turkom, discussed today, Thursday, with a delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation "Giz", the future cooperation prospects between the two countries in the field of vocational education in Syria.
The Minister Turkom emphasized the importance of benefiting from the German experience in vocational education and the ministry's steps towards achieving that.
In turn, the German delegation expressed great interest in vocational education, expressing their desire to initiate practical steps to develop vocational education in Syria, establish standards, training, and youth rehabilitation to ensure a better future for them and connect them to the labor market.
It is worth noting that the German Agency for International Cooperation "GIZ" is a development agency that provides technical and financial assistance to promote sustainable development worldwide, operating in more than 120 countries, collaborating with governments, companies, and civil society to implement projects in areas such as renewable energy, climate adaptation, education, and economic development.
