Minister of Defense meets a delegation from the "Men of Dignity" movement in Damascus.

Defense Minister of Syria, Marhef Abu Qasra, met with a delegation from the Dignity Men Movement, led by Sheikh Laith Al-Balous, in the capital Damascus. According to SANA, "a meeting was held between the Defense Minister, Sheikh Laith Al-Balous, and the accompanying delegation," without details disclosed. Notably, several sheikhs, dignitaries, and political and military leaders in the province of Al-Suwayda sent an open letter to President Ahmed Al-Shara, emphasizing the unity of Syrian territory and defense against any external aggression, calling for a "reconsideration" of the constitutional declaration. The letter, signed by representatives of various religious, social, political, and union activities in the province, dated last March 26, stressed that the victory of the Syrian revolution and the transition to the state-building phase require efforts and participation of all Syrians in political, economic life, and defending Syria against any external aggression.
