Minister of Communications via "IX": We organized the National Summit for Startups in Damascus

The Syrian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdul Salam Haykal, said today, Thursday, that we organized the National Summit for Startups in Damascus, where founders and executives of 140 companies from 11 provinces and Syrians in diaspora gathered.
He added via "IX": "We all got to know inspiring ambitions and potentials, and we recorded ideas, suggestions, and requests that we will fulfill to support the launch of tech companies to become a driving force for our economy and empower our citizens".
Haykal emphasized that Syrians are people of creativity, determination, and their capabilities are the greatest advantage of our country. Therefore, we confidently bet on partnering with tech entrepreneurs inside and outside in the journey of establishing the new Syria.
The Minister expressed "thanks and appreciation to the great team of the ministry, especially in the Innovation and Startups Office, the Information Technology Services Authority, and our partners in the United Nations Development Programme".
