Minister Abdul Razzaq discusses with humanitarian organizations mechanisms of mutual cooperation.

The Minister of Public Works and Housing in the Syrian caretaker government, Engineer Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, met today, Tuesday, May 6, with a delegation representing humanitarian organizations operating in Syria, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation in development and service areas.
During the meeting, held at the ministry's headquarters in Damascus, the main tasks of the ministry were reviewed. Abdul Razzaq pointed out that "the ministry's responsibilities include planning and supervising the work of cooperative housing associations, the Public Housing Establishment, implementing road and bridge projects, social housing projects, engineering studies, regional plans, through its network of affiliated companies and institutions in all provinces."
On his part, Yarub Asfari, head of the humanitarian organizations delegation, emphasized "the importance of establishing a clear mechanism for coordination with the ministry," expressing "the organizations' readiness to cooperate in areas that serve the ministry's developmental goals."
