The Saudi Al-Nassr Club announced the completion of its contract with Spanish defender Inigo Martinez coming from Barcelona in a free transfer, after the player's period with the Catalan team ended.

According to what the club published on its official account on the "X" platform, all procedures related to the player's contract have been completed, with him signing a contract that extends until 2026, making him one of the team's most prominent signings during the current summer transfer window.

Martinez had played 25 matches with Barcelona in the 2023-2024 season under coach Xavi Hernandez, while he participated in 46 matches in the previous season with coach Hans Flick. He also contributed to winning local titles with the Catalan team in the past season and played a significant role in Barcelona's qualification to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
