Sky Sports reported today, Monday, that Everton has agreed to loan Englishman Jack Grealish, a midfielder from Manchester City, for one season.

Grealish, who is 29 years old, joined Manchester City from Aston Villa for £100 million, approximately $134 million, in 2021, but has fallen out of coach Pep Guardiola's plans and needs to play more time before next year's World Cup.

Grealish started only seven matches in the Premier League last season and was not included in Manchester City's squad for the recent Club World Cup.

Earlier, Guardiola hinted in his statements at Grealish's departure to get a chance to play regularly after he was excluded from the squad for the Club World Cup in the United States.

Grealish, who has participated in 36 international matches, also missed out on England's squad for the Euro 2024 tournament.
