Malaysia Condemns Israeli Violations in Syria

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today condemned the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation on the Syrian capital, Damascus, describing it as a "violation of Syria's sovereignty" that resulted in the loss of innocent lives.
The Malaysian news agency quoted Ibrahim as saying in a statement today: "These airstrikes constitute a clear violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel," adding: "Syria has endured immense hardships over the past decade, and its people deserve peace, not more violence and external interference."
Ibrahim emphasized that Malaysia stands with the Syrian people and demands an immediate halt to these violations, reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian principles and the rule of law.
