Syria is experiencing a relatively stable weather condition during the current night and on Sunday, February 9th, with a significant drop in temperatures and the formation of frost in wide areas of the country. By noon, the country is expected to be affected by a weak low-pressure system, accompanied by partial clouds gradually turning into thick clouds with intermittent rain. This weather condition will start on the coastal areas and gradually extend to areas including Idlib, Aleppo, western Hama, Homs, Daraa, Quneitra, and Suwayda, with snowfall on the western highlands of Damascus.

Here are the details of the impact of this low-pressure system on different regions:

* Sunday: Rain is expected to start in the coastal, central, and southern regions, as well as certain areas in the northwest, with snowfall on elevations above 1200 meters, lowering to 1000 meters in northern Syria.

* Monday - Friday: Poor weather conditions will continue until Friday morning, with intermittent and varying intensity of rain from day to day, expecting significant rainfall in coastal areas. The weather will remain cold, especially in northern Syria.

* Syrian Jazeera: Will be affected by a weak low-pressure system, with partial clouds and chances of scattered rain showers.

Regarding the expected temperatures during this period:

_ Coastal areas: between 13 and 10 degrees Celsius.

_ Northwestern regions: between 12 and 1 degree Celsius.

_ Central regions: between 11 and 1 degree Celsius.

_ Southern regions: between 10 and 0 degrees Celsius.

_ Western highlands of Damascus: between 4 and -2 degrees Celsius.

_ Jazeera: between 13 and 2 degrees Celsius.

As the low-pressure system continues to affect, the weather will remain extremely cold with temperatures close to freezing in mountainous areas and eastern plains, with calm winds.
