Liverpool Football Club suffered a major shock by being knocked out of their first tournament this season by a team from the first division.
Liverpool unexpectedly lost to Plymouth Argyle 1-0 on Sunday evening in the 32nd round of the English FA Cup.
Plymouth currently sits at the bottom of the English First Division and is a candidate for relegation to the Second Division, which is the third tier in English football competitions.
Liverpool fans were also surprised by Dutch coach "Ernie Slot"'s decision to exclude Liverpool star and Europe's top scorer "Mohamed Salah" from the lineup.
This was done to rest the Egyptian star before the upcoming match against Everton in the English Premier League.
This loss marks Liverpool's first exit from one of their four tournaments this season.
