Like a Scene from Hollywood: Prisoner Escapes in Another Prisoner's Released Bag

A 20-year-old prisoner escaped from a prison in the city of Lyon, southeast France, when he hid in the bag of another prisoner who was released at the end of his sentence.

According to informed sources, the escape operation was discovered yesterday morning, where the escapee took advantage of his cellmate's release after serving his sentence, and hid inside one of his bags.
The escapee had multiple previous convictions and was wanted under a judicial order in connection with organized crime.

The authorities dealt with the incident very seriously, referring the case to the regional court specialized in organized crime. An investigation was also opened into the incident on charges of escaping as part of an organized gang and forming a criminal association.
