"False and Malicious" .. Egyptian Ministry of Transport Denies the Validity of a Recording Attributed to the Minister

The Egyptian Ministry of Transport issued a statement categorically denying the validity of an audio recording attributed to Major General Engineer Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport.
The statement affirmed that the mentioned recording is "false, fabricated, and malicious", indicating that it includes baseless allegations about the fragility of the Egyptian infrastructure, and false claims linking the Ramses Central Station fire to the inadequacy of budgets allocated to infrastructure.
The ministry emphasized that this forged recording aims to:
Stir confusion among citizens
Spread malicious rumors
Minimize the significant developmental achievements made by the Egyptian state
The statement clarified that the unprecedented giant projects implemented in various fields since 2014 until now testify to the strength and development of the Egyptian infrastructure.
The ministry concluded its statement by urging citizens not to believe such false claims, and to ensure obtaining information only from the official sources of the ministry, reaffirming the continuous efforts to develop infrastructure and transportation services within the framework of the comprehensive developmental vision of the state.
