Kuwaiti artist and media personality Fakhri Odeh passes away at the age of 84.

Today, on Tuesday, the veteran Kuwaiti artist and media personality, Fakhri Oudah, passed away at the age of 84 after a battle with illness. His health deteriorated recently, necessitating his transfer to the hospital for treatment.
The late artist is considered one of the prominent figures who left a clear mark on the Kuwaiti artistic and media scene. He graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts in 1982, specializing in acting and directing, and began his artistic journey at a young age of 21.
The deceased was known for his diverse creative works in theatrical and television acting, journalism, popular poetry, radio productions, songwriting, and voice acting.
He presented many works that had a significant impact, participating in TV series such as "Darb Al Zalag" and "Al Aqdhar," as well as excelling in theater with works like "Al Empiria" and "Job Hunting."
His play "Fawda" stands out as one of his notable achievements, being the first Kuwaiti play to be televised in color in 1976.
He also contributed to the world of animation by writing songs for the famous cartoon series "Adnan and Lina" and voicing the character "Alam" in the same work.
His contributions extended to children's theatrical works and TV programs that combined preparation, direction, and acting.
In addition to his artistic career, the late artist held several administrative positions in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, achieving notable success in both artistic and administrative fields.
