In an incident that sparked widespread controversy on social media and Spanish media, Colombian psychologist Juliana Bantuga revealed the real reason behind her breakup with Spanish goalkeeping legend Iker Casillas, former player of Real Madrid and the Spanish national team.

Bantuga stated in television remarks made yesterday, Tuesday, August 13, that she was in a romantic relationship with Casillas, confirming that "they both loved each other very much," but the relationship did not develop due to behaviors she described as "unacceptable."

Juliana explicitly explained that "Casillas did not care about his personal hygiene and did not shower daily," adding, "He liked to control everything, and this made the relationship suffocate and no longer sustainable."

The Colombian psychologist did not stop there; she presented messages, audio recordings, and video clips that she said confirm the reality of their relationship, thus denying the doubts some tried to raise.

In response, Iker Casillas denied these claims and expressed his astonishment at the continued media attacks he faces even after retiring from football, confirming that he wishes to live in peace away from the spotlight.

It is worth noting that Casillas has sparked recurring controversy in recent years due to his romantic relationships, making him a topic of newspapers despite his distance from the fields.
