Jordanian Tribes Condemn Attacks on Bedouins in Sweida Governorate and Call on the Government to Act
Jordanian mountain tribes strongly condemned today, Thursday, the atrocities of genocide, kidnapping, torture, and forced displacement suffered by the Bedouin tribes in Sweida Governorate.

The Jordanian mountain tribes stated in their statement today: "We, the sons of the mountain tribes in Jordan, including Al-Sharafat, Al-Masa'id, Al-Athamah, and Al-Zubeid, condemn in the strongest terms the atrocities committed against our honorable people from the Bedouin tribes in Sweida Governorate, Syria, including genocide, kidnapping, torture, and forced displacement by the criminal sectarian gangs affiliated with what is known as (Al-Hajari), which practice the worst forms of terrorism and intimidation against innocent civilians, violating all human, ethical, and religious norms and laws."

The statement added: "These deliberate crimes against our people are a disgrace to humanity and pose a direct threat to civil peace, not only in southern Syria but in the entire region."

The statement called on the Jordanian government to take urgent and effective diplomatic and humanitarian action to stop these violations, exerting pressure by all possible means to end the injustice inflicted on our people and ensure their protection.

The statement also urged the international community and human rights organizations to conduct an immediate investigation into these crimes, hold the perpetrators fully accountable, and work to prosecute them in accordance with international law.

The statement emphasized the need to eradicate the criminal gangs that have corrupted the land, spread poisons and drugs, whose danger now threatens the security and stability of Arab societies, and represents an extension of the chaos and disintegration project.

Finally, the statement concluded: "We declare our full solidarity with our people in Jabal Al-Arab, and we salute the free and honorable people there, believing that the will of the people cannot be suppressed, and that injustice, no matter how long it persists, will eventually perish."
